Handigolf / Albatros Association
The "Les Albatros" Association was created in 2005. Its main objective is to provide a Handigolf school, the only one in Alsace, which welcomes young people with disabilities, on Tuesday mornings. Introductory courses, as well as private lessons, are set up for 1 child and 2 adults, with the participation of our Pros, and the support of the La Wantzenau Golf Club.
From 2017, the Association has also been represented at a competitive level:
- Since 2018 André Jouvent and Oudadet Souvannara, two players from the Association, have regularly participated successfully in the Handigolf Grands Prix, and in international competitions.
- In 2019, Les Albatros organized the 1st European Grand-Prix at La Wantzenau Golf Course.
The success of the Association is made possible by the regular generosity of club members and the SERS. Donations are tax deductible, up to 66% for individuals and 60% for companies.
